Dear Compton Unified Parents/Guardians: 

This message has important information about the District’s on campus programs. Effective Tuesday, January 19, 2021 through February 5, 2021, all students participating in on-campus learning cohorts and learning centers will attend classes entirely virtually.  

This decision was made due to the recent rise in COVID-19 cases throughout the County and with the guidance of the LA County Department of Public Health. 

This means that students currently participating in on-campus learning cohorts will begin attending classes virtually by logging on to their teachers’ Google classroom from home starting Tuesday, January 19^th. 

If your child is not currently attending classes in person, they will continue to log on and participate in virtual instruction. 

This was a difficult decision, but one that is best for the safety and wellbeing of students and staff. If your child is receiving support services, they will continue to do so virtually.  

Please reach out to your Principal if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you and please follow the County’s Safer at Home guidelines by limiting non-essential travel, wearing face coverings, and practicing hand washing. We will miss seeing our bright Compton Scholars on campus and look forward to when we can be together in person again.
